Autumnal stirrings

Leaf edges curl brown,
rowan berry siren song,
chill susurrations.

G

Common Inkcap, edible but poisonous when combined with alcohol, so no, we haven't

Red Cracked Bolete, apparently edible but extremely bitter, which is a real shame because quite a few have popped up in our front garden near the bike shed

Copper Beech leaves against a momentarily blue sky

Acorns, still green, oak leaves just touched

Virginia creeper on a stone wall

  1. Lovely bits of Autumn. Those Copper Beech leaves really glow like molten lava don't they?
