Due to the nature of Google maps it is well-nigh impossible to draw the exact way we travelled from place to place so please use these as a rough guide to where we have been, not as a navigational aid. And please allow a moment or two for the wobbly purple lines to appear...

Sorry, I had a lot of trouble with this last map and no matter how many times I re-did it, it would not show all the sections that we travelled. So it was (fairly) accurate to August 25, 2011 but the last couple of weeks across Romania refuse to show themselves. And the bus trip through Bulgaria - which I even did in a different colour - remains invisible also.
